Exceptional Tutoring for Maths Excellence

Amadou Education offers personalised online and in-person tutoring in mathematics, led by a recognised teacher with extensive experience in leading private schools throughout Surrey, specifically for the Guildford area.

About Me

With 30 years of experience teaching mathematics across three schools in both the state and independent sectors, I bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion to my tutoring. I have served as Head of Mathematics in two of these schools, where I developed and implemented strategies to raise achievement and inspire a love for maths in students of all abilities. Over the years, I’ve built a proven track record of significantly improving results through one-to-one and group tutoring sessions, ensuring that every student, regardless of their starting point, feels supported and empowered to succeed.

As an experienced examiner, I have a deep understanding of what exam boards look for, which enables me to help students not only understand mathematical concepts but also excel in applying them in an exam context. I am committed to creating a positive, engaging learning environment where no one is left behind. With an enhanced DBS certification, you can trust that your child is in safe, professional hands. My approach combines tailored support, regular practice, and expert guidance to help students achieve their full potential, whether they’re aiming to pass their GCSEs, excel at A Levels, or simply grow in confidence with maths.

What I Offer

I provide a range of tailored tutoring services designed to meet the individual needs of students at every stage of their mathematics journey. My goal is to build confidence, deepen understanding, and help students achieve their full potential in a supportive and structured environment. Here’s what I can offer:

One-to-One Lessons: Personalised sessions tailored to the unique needs of your child, focusing on their specific areas for improvement and helping them master key concepts at their own pace.

Small Group Lessons: Interactive and collaborative sessions where students can learn alongside peers, reinforcing skills through discussion, shared problem-solving, and guided practice.

Key Stage 3 Mathematics (Years 7, 8, and 9): Laying the groundwork for future success by strengthening fundamental skills and introducing essential topics that form the backbone of GCSE mathematics.

GCSE and IGCSE Mathematics: Expert guidance to help students prepare for these crucial exams, including targeted support on problem-solving, exam technique, and mastering challenging topics.

A Level Mathematics: Comprehensive tutoring to support students through the significant jump from GCSE to A Level, ensuring they have the confidence and skills to excel in this advanced and demanding subject.

Online Revision Courses: Dedicated online courses designed to consolidate knowledge, practice essential skills, and boost exam readiness, whether for GCSE, IGCSE, or A Level Mathematics.

Each of these options is delivered in a focused, engaging way that ensures every student feels supported, motivated, and ready to achieve their goals. Whether your child needs a confidence boost, support with specific topics, or preparation for exams, I am here to help.
